How blog helps teachers?

After finishing my ICT assignment which is about blog, I still have something to talk about blog. Thus I use this blog to talk about it. 

Blogs have become a popular phenomenon in the past several years and are considered as a simple way of network communication. As a quick and easy-to-use knowledge exchange and construction system, it has also received more and more attention from educators and has been gradually introduced into the field of education.The blog has five basic features: 

Firstly, the low come-in level. Based on this social software, any people who do not understand the web html language can easily upload and update personal web pages. Secondly, cost free. Blogs do not need any money or material costs so far, almost all websites that provide space for blog services have no charged fees. People only need to comply with relevant rules and persevere to update. Thirdly, the inheritance in time and space. Blogs are sorted by year and date in order for readers and authors. It does not need to be written every day. Fourth, personalization. From the site name selection, site creation, style selection, content construction to blog maintenance, the whole process is entirely a DIY process which attracts everyone.

Apart from the advantages that I mentioned in the assignment which are generate a learning atmosphere, serves as an online database, change the teacher and student’s role, it  can carry out education and teaching management and improve the management level. Many principals and education administrators use blogs to record their own practices, thoughts, and research in education management. In practice and accumulation, they have improved the understanding of the nature of education. At the same time, they have done a good job in teaching and researching first-line teachers.

A good, open and transparent management environment enables teachers to actively participate in school management and become masters of school management. They will be psychologically satisfied and emotionally reassured when their work is recognized,  and teachers will feel safe. Therefore, web blog management needs our devotions. This modern transmission method is characterized by openness, transparency, and supervision. Online communication at any time has truly reached the goal of interaction between leaders and teachers. This is not accessible on weekdays. Teachers can freely express their thoughts and attitudes in their blogs, so that they can understand the teachers and really do a good job in teacher management.

For teachers, the application blog can help carry out teaching and research activities and conduct in-depth exchanges. Blogs, as a tool for teaching and research activities, can expand the time and space of activities without being limited to a fixed time and place. Any thoughts teachers have about teaching at any time can be written in blogs, or they can join in the teaching and research of brothers schools to conduct teaching research together. For teachers who teach in different fields, blogs based on thematic exchanges can also be formed.

The role of blogs in teaching and research is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

(1) It can promote teachers' continuous learning and thinking on teaching research.

(2) What is often recorded in blogs is the inspiration of our teaching work, the perception of teaching, the result of many days of thinking and practice, the solution to a certain educational problem, etc. These are treasure for a teacher.

(3) The blog can reflect the teacher's thinking process, not just the result of thinking. This records the process of teacher professional development and growth.

(4) The content of the blog will naturally have many readers where everyone can improved together.

For teachers, the process of blogs is mainly the process of organizing their own knowledge. For learners, it is the process of communicating with people and evaluating each other. In short, teaching with blog can easily organize the education and teaching resources from the Internet, provide students with structured learning materials, help teachers better teach, and give students a clean network environment.
